Finish the story begins with: “Pizza anyone?”
“Pizza anyone?” Jack’s famous words!
Nobody would ever forget that evening.
It was Lyla, Jack’s girl friends birthday. He invited some friends over and planned to bake his special home made pizza. All the ingredients were mixed and chopped up the day before, ready for the cooking..
All were gathered in the lounge, toasting Lyla on her birthday. The delicious aroma, of pizza baking, hung in the air. Jack was also having a drink while waiting for the pizza to cook.
Suddenly he got up and went into the kitchen. Everybody was waiting in anticipation for the food to be dished up.
Then a trembling voice came from the entrance to the lounge:
“Pizza anyone?” – Jack was standing there all covered in burned pizza! All the guests jumped up and helped him to clean up.
No home made pizza for them!
This was the last time Jack tried his hand at baking.

Cooking pizza when you have visitors is always a nightmare – you get distracted by your guests and the thing ends up burnt! Good story. 🙂

I think anyone cooking or baking for guests dreads disasters like that happening. I think Jack handled it very well and managed to keep his sense of humour. At least there are plenty of places offering pizza delivery services! Well written, Scrapydo. 🙂

Well Jack knows now that when you are cooking you have to keep an eye on it. Lucky for them that the pizza place is just a telephone call away. Thank you for your kind words. I stated reading your first book! Very interesting and flows easily.

Wow, Scraydo! That’s really kind of you. I’m really grateful that you’ve just downloaded it. It’s a big help because it helps the book to become more visible on Amazon. Thank you so much! 🙂
