Five photos, five stories : Day 3 Wellington fault line( Totara Park, Upper Hutt)

Rules of Five Photos, Five Stories Challenge require you to post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo (It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or simply a short paragraph) and then nominate another blogger to carry on this challenge. Accepting the challenge is entirely up to the person nominated, it is not a command.

I would like to invite you all and feel free to join the Five Photos, Five Stories Challenge.

NEW ZEALAND

Upper Hutt my new home town

New Zealand is a country(island) which is known for earth quakes. People here are kind of used to the movement of the earth. The smaller shakes are nothing to them. To me it still is something I have to get used to! If I say: Did you feel that one? The answer usually is yes but….. I know the big ones are horrible. The year before last we had some big shocks. Makes you think how little we are. We, as humans, can do nothing to prevent it. Nature rules.

I have taken this photo of the place where the fault line goes.

It is in Totara Park, California drive.

For more on this visit and read the following link.

If you pass this fault line signand walk to the Hutt River you will see this foot bridge that connects Totara Park with Brown Owl at the other side of the river.

  1. Beslis nie. Afgelope dae was daar juis nogal roering hier. Een wat naby was het ek nie gevoel nie omdat besig was om te ry!

Hetsy stormweer, aardbewing of “landslide”(woord ontgaan my nou) Did beslis n ander mooi as waaraan ek ook maar gewoond is

    1. Dit is beslis heel anders as SA. Selfs Trompie was baie onrustig gewees
