The story begins:

“The only residents remaining in the small town of Miners Hill are spirits.”

That was the message Jake got from his good work mate Stef.

“Why did it happen? Why Miners Hill? There are so many hills where the spirits could roam free!” Jake was thinking.

He was staring at the once active and friendly little town. The miners had so much joy and fun here. They were a happy bunch until this big ugly company took everything over. They were not good enough to work for the company. All were fired on the spot. No back pay, no compensation. All just kicked out. The company’s fancy soft workers could not handle the pressure. They were all killed when the mine exploded. Now only their spirits are calling to be released!

“Never am I going to let them out!” Jake thought.
