Daffodils are such wonderful flowers. They’re so bright and cheerful after all the drab and dreary weeks of winter. They seem to hold promise of sunshine and warm days ahead. Lovely photos.
Yes they do. I also know which gardens have them. I keep an eye open for them as soon as they start showing their faces. A Church near me usually start and then the rest follow. Same with the Magnolias!
Magnolias are absolutely gorgeous, too. We had a really lovely tree in our last house. The one we b put in when we moved here did on us! Spring is a wonderful season, isn’t it?
It does, and it’s hard to be patient. This year in the UK, spring was later than ever starting – and it led on to a very poor summer. Most of the country has had so much wind, and many places have had a lot of rain to go with it. Roll on next year… 🙂
Spring is also later this year. They expect drought and hot weather for summer here. Nature has its own way and we can’t do anything about it except try to save water

The last few weeks were still very cold. Luckily the temperature is increasing. Flowers can now show their best spring dresses.

Hang on in there. I know how you feel. I’m the same every year when spring is on the horizon.

Ai tog, die natuur kan ook maar nie altyd wen om te ontwaak na wintertye nie. Hoop jyl kry bietjie reën om stof nat te maak.
