My awesome row of flowering hanging baskets

I feel awesome because I could work with children again after six years of hanging around as a retiree. It is awesome to get up early in the morning.(6 o’clock) walk Trompie, enjoying the quietness of the morning. I am ready to go just after 7. I have to unlock the school and room for the before school children. This is up to 8:30 am. Then there is a morning of doing what I want. 3 o’clock I have to be back for 2 hours for after school care. I am tired after the session but happy to be busy doing real work and earn some money, which is awesome too.

My notifications on wordpress are doing strange things, not telling me when people comment, no notification of pingbacks, or links. Have you had any issues, Ineke?

  No issues at moment but I have not read many posts the last view weeks. If you go to “blogs I follow” it is worth checking if the blogs you want to get comments from immediately might have changed to once a week. It happened to me a while ago and I just clicked them back to immediately

      I know the pressure. I did my Toeka-tokkel once a week and at the end time was an issue. I stopped it for this year. Next year I’ll see how it goes.

I’m so glad your new job is making you feel awesome, Ineke. I was worried for a while that it would be too much for you – but you’ve proved me wrong! And who can deny that children are awesome? They are a delight to work with. I also agree that your hanging baskets are awesome. Thank you for your ‘awesome’ response to my nomination! 😀 Hope you’re enjoying some wonderful weather out there. Here it’s grey, miserable and wet – not in the least bit Christmassy, yet. But we still have almost two weeks to go.

  It is very tiresome but it feels good to be looking after these lovely children. They make me realize that they are very important in life. I am glad to have a break from 15 Dec. I have a lot catch up to do in my writing. Weather here is much warmer but still some days are very cloudy, cold and wet. The cold is unusual for this time of year. There was snow falling in South Island, that’s why we feel the nip outside again. Hope you keep warm inside when the weather is not good outside.

    It’s been a fuuny year for weather here, too, Ineke. Our summer was awful but autumn was really good. I thought you’d have been enjoying some warm sunshine by now. Weather systems worldwide seem all over the place. Here, everywhere is very wet, at the moment. Some areas have had serious floods, and many homes have been ruined. So much rain takes its toll.
    Do have a good rest and get plenty of writing done. I’m hoping to do the same once Christmas is over.

      The weather is very strange. This morning felt as if there could be some frost! I heard about the floods over there. yesterday afternoon there was a tornado in South Island, hail and thunder too! I am looking forward to start my second book. I know a bit more by now and it will be a pleasure to do the editing, sorting and then publishing it. To me it is a hobby and not a “must do” thing. I hope you get time to start writing and get into it again soon. What are you planning for Christmas? Keep well!

        We have so many days when the family are here over Christmas that I spend most of my time in the kitchen! Lol But I’ve had many tears of that and I love catering for everyone. I’m definitely planning a blogging break in January, though, or this book will never get finished. Good luck with your second one! I’ve still several revies to write up, but I will get to yours soon, I hope. Keep well, too. 🙂
