I’m retired from public school (teacher, administration). I am still running an after school program.

Good on you. I am also supposed to be retired. The Before and After school Care gives me extra income because my South African Pension is kind of worthless in NZ.

I know a lot of people have to work after they start collecting Social Security Benefit, because it is not enough to live on!

True, I need to be here for ten years before I can get benefit from here.

I know some countries have that requirement. Just like school system, have to work for at least five years to get retirement benefits.

New Zealand is a beautiful country. My two sisters and their families have been there. We only went to Australia. Next time when we go, we’ll go to Australia and NZ

Cool, that sounds awesome! It is really a beautiful country. I am going to do some house sitting the end of the week till 8th Jan. It’s on a farm and way up on top of the hills. No TV or radio. I’m going to relax, read, write and look after animals and gardens.

Miskien kry ek ‘n foto of twee geneem.

Looks very cool. My mum is not in the mood to put up our tree but she told me about the decorations. She is going to put on some later on. Have a lovely evening! Love and hugs to you and your grams.
