I had the oppertunity to house sit for two weeks up in the hills on a farm. Most of the time the weather was not good to e outside but one evening was clear and beautiful.

I took these photos because the atmosphere and evening was just a pefect moment.

    1. Net vêr genoeg om nie met iemand in aanraking te kom en tog naby genoeg as daar nood is. Een van die dames wat so entjie weg bly het my vir n regte Engelse teedrink genooi een middag. Dit was n belewenis. Haar man is ook n kranige fotograaf en hul is beide hondeliefhebbers so, jy moet weet ons kon nie ophou kuier nie.

    1. It was purrfect even Puma the kitty loved me. I had lots of sheep poo to eat every day. Mum did not like it but at the end she just let me go and left me picking out the best once. Mum still wants to put some nice photos on to share with all the world!. Extra licks to you and high paws too.

    1. Was heerlik so weg van alles. Gladnie bang gewees dis nie Afrika nie. Hier los hul nog alles oop sonder voorvalle. Ek moes wel die grenshek sluit as ek uitgaan want daar was inbrake in die omgewing. Het juis gewonder of jy my e-pos gekry het. Worry daaroor!

    1. Dankie, dit was juis die aand na Kersfees wat ek fotos geneem het. My ou onstabiele hand het die fotos bietjie laat beweeg(eintlik het ek die beweging gedoen, ha ha!) Driepoot sou dit mooi stil gehou het. Hoe bly die nuwe blyplek, nader aan strand?

      1. Ons trek die 20ste in en hierdie kant is ‘n deurmekaarspul van bokse – daardie kant is ‘n deurmekaarspul van krane wat nog nie gekonnekteer is nie, verfblikke wat rondstaan … nou ja, dis mos deel van die pret. Ek hoop ek gaan internet hê in die weke na die die Groot Trek.

    1. I should have used a tripod to take these photos. The movement makes it a bit spooky. As you can see it wasn’t dark yet although it was already nearly 9.30 pm. Now I’ve learned something more, blue hour is a good description for that time of night.
