I never was one to immediately buy new machines or technology. Same with television. At first, I visited my sister on a weekend and would watch a bit with her children. Then I went next door to my best friend who had a television. I usually went for the news and weather report. While watching my friend made us a cup of tea. Then I bought myself a portable black ad white TV. Those days the reception wasn’t good and that made that I still went for my evening cup of tea and news at my friend. I got married and we didn’t have a Television at first. After we moved into our own home we bought a “real” colored TV. Today I have a TV but am still not into sitting in front of it all the time. Yes, news I watch and then maybe a programme after that. Sometimes I’ll watch a movie depending on my mood.

  1. Mostly I can take TV or leave it. Over the years I’ve had some favorite shows to watch, but some of what they call entertainment these days, just doesn’t interest me much. 🙂

    1. I also loved to watch some series but today there is not much that interest me anymore. I think my taste is different from today’s programs

  2. I’m not a big TV watcher either except during baseball season.

    1. I’m not even much interested in sport anymore.
