I wonder what happened to the top of these toadstools?
I found them on the side of the pavement while walking Trompie.
Dit is so mooi! Wat het toe daarmee gebeur?
Iets besonders. Middag toe ek verby loop was hul klaar opgeskrompel en net die steeltjies het nog gestaan. Gister was daar nog weer maar nie so mooi soos die twee nie.

So delicate and transparent.
Was amazing to see it.!
Yes and a transient surprise as they don’t appear in dry weather.
And usually more in spring after all the wet winter weather. You should look up jellyfish toadstool. Very interesting.
I will. Thanks. I just did and found a variety of crafts!
Good on you. I still need to finish off some project that are waiting for some years now.
Oh I have plenty of those too, Ineke!!
The best of those projects are that all the material is there. I just need to sit down and do it. I think it will happen now that I’m not going to school every day.
It was a good thing you had the material there ready to go.
Haha, haven’t started yet only unpacked it and found everything ready to start.
Thinking about doing is a start!
I’ve got to make a list of what I need to do first.
Nearly forgot. I’m busy knitting a warm jersey for Bea that needs my attention now before the winter is over, haha.
Move the knitting up the list! It is getting cool now. Lists are great ways to keep on task.
I did move it on top of list because I want to start the next one!
So mooi!!! Lyk amper delicate??
Dit is regtig iets uit n ander wêreld.
These are so cool. 😀
They are, and also petit too.
Beslis kon nie ophou kyk nie. Klein en petit ook nog daarby.
Looks like someone was very hungry…or needed a new roof..MOL😸Love the picture! Pawkisses for a wonderful weekend. Stay Safe Healthy and Yourselfie🙏🐾😽💞
Thanks, it really was special. I passed them this afternoon and the tops were already gone. Look after yourself and have a good weekend. Our lock-down is nearly over. Shops are open again and schools are starting on Monday
I saw pictures of the same mushrooms a couple years ago. Searched around and found them on https://rosegrowing.blogspot.com/2008/12/strange-fungi-appeared-at-my-roses.html
But it looks like s/he has no name for them either, though “jellyfish fungi” seems apt. Looks to be in the southern hemisphere, though, as he’s growing roses at Christmastime.
Not sure it helps, but…
I had a look on line and found https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mycena_interrupta or Pixie Parrasol. I think these two were already open a while because the afternoon they were gone when I walked past the place.
