Short story writing!

Use a favourite colour and describe yourself without using the name of the colour. No more than 150 words.

Here I go, what do you think of my description? Do you recognise the colour?

Ineke Kruger owned an Opel Kadett the colour of ripe sweet strawberries. She wore a dazzling jacket the colour of a ladybug and a dotted fascinator on her head to her son’s wedding. Bright poppies and hibiscuses lighten up her spirits when she is sad. She is at the age where her years are turning the colour of wild grape leaves in autumn. Ineke loves sharing her knowledge with young children as if it were the bright Tiger Tree seeds eaten by birds and carried off to far-off places to grow.
