Last night, around 12:00pm, all hell broke loose.

Plonk…plonk…plonk on the roof. Suddenly, the hailstorm burst and hammered down. I had a look but couldn’t see much in the dark. All went quiet, and then some heavy showers were on and off.

Just after seven this morning, I opened my curtains and, whala!

Snow, lots of snow on the hills.

Hail can be nasty…but that snow on the mountains looks pretty…hope it melts soon so spring can carry on for you so that your views will be even more amazing!
(Snow/ice on the windshield is not fun, when you have to clear it off…)

Hoping there wasn’t too much damage from the hail, the snow on the mountains looks very picturesque though. You have an amazing view from your house

Luckily not much damage because it was a short hail bit. Thanks for visiting my blog. I enjoy every moment of the beautiful view around me. Thankful that I can experience it first hand.

Ons kan doen met bietjie koeligheid. Hittegolf al vir ‘n paar dae hier. Die omgewing daar by jou is pragtig!

Wens ek kon vir jul bietjie ys stuur om stelselmatig te smelt. Ek verlustig my elke oomblik in die omgewing. Dis elke dag ‘n belewenis.

Very unusual for this time of the year. Or should I say it hasn’t happened before. It’s a cold front blown to us by a Southerly from Antarctica.
