The brown patch is where pine trees have been harvested this year. Al the dark tree patches are waiting to be cut down next year.

Silent Sunday: Bad weather last week

20181108_171006

Last week we had bad weather. The wind blew at 120km p hour, day and night. It rained ongoing. Last Thursday when I went home the rain stopped but the clouds rolling nearer and nearer frightened me. The photo doesn’t show how black these clouds were. Lucky for me I turned off to the right to where I live.

This weekend we had lovely sunshine and no rain.

New view from my doorstep

As you all know I moved House on the 8th of March. There are still some things left in my old place that needs to be moved. Hopefully, this come week will be the last of it. This coming weekend is a long weekend starting Friday and back to school on Following Wednesday.

I sat on the steps cutting my toenails.

ROUNDED

Goodbye, straight lines. Hello, curves.

This week, share your take on “rounded.” it’s a broad theme, so I look forward to your personal interpretations, whether you choose to focus on a curving street, limbs caught mid-way through a dance, a bowl of fruit (think of all the round shapes!), or any other object, landscape, or texture that fits within your definition of the theme. As always, less-literal takes are equally welcome.
