Today was Bea’s early birthday celebration. The theme was in the Barn! There was a jumping castle but the weather wasn’t good. It rained. As soon as it stopped a bit the children were jumping. Dad had to go with Bea because it was a bit unstable for a little girl. Dad went in with his clothes and got soaking wet. They all had a feast.
Mummy decided to organize a party.
I won’t be home on my first birthday.
Mum invited all my(her) local friends.
We had a good time!
At first, we sat outside, but it was
extra hot and windy.
I played the xylophone with my feet.
Jummy, jummy cake.
A little later I found my lucky feeder.
We sat under the table enjoying the feast.
A photo of a very handsome little fellow called
He was interested in me taking photos. He kept on asking questions on how the camera worked, where to switch it on and off, where the light(flash) came from…
This past week I went through some old papers of my parents.
I discovered two telegrams sent to my parents while they were travelling
to South Africa in 1952 on De Waterman
from the Netherlands.
The first one is a telegram from my grand parents
on February 18, 1952.
My fathers birthday.
The next one is my treasure.
Congratulations from my grandparents on my 6 th birthday
Febuary 22, 1952!
Today February 18 was my fathers birthday.
Today three years ago I started blogging as Scrapydo.
