Blogging 101 day one kicks off with introducing myself!
Today’s assignment: write and publish a “who I am and why I’m here” post on your blog.
To help me going a few questions to answer:
1. Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
I want to interact with like minded people. Learn more about certain places, people and their interactions.
2. What topics do you think you’ll write about?
I already have an established blog. I do fast fiction writing. Love to take photos and put them in a post with some description of where and what is going on around me. Dogs are also my favorite animals.
3. Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
Like minded people, fast fiction writers, amateur photographers and dog lovers.
4. If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?
Met like minded people on line, follow some awesome ones. Have the opportunity to enjoy and post to my hearts delight.
Rules of Five Photos, Five Stories Challenge require you to post a photo each day for five consecutive days and attach a story to the photo (It can be fiction or non-fiction, a poem or simply a short paragraph) and then nominate another blogger to carry on this challenge. Accepting the challenge is entirely up to the person nominated, it is not a command.
I would like to invite you to join the Five Photos, Five Stories Challenge.
VOOR GROOT TREK
Die laaste dae was baie besig en deurmekaar. Alles moes gereël word sodat my trek kon wegkom.
Hier sit ek in my sitkamer op n geleende kampstoel. Met Nancy my liefste laaste Suid Afrikaanse hondekind.
Hul was egter vroeër as afgespreek.

(This is a follow up on yesterdays 100 words challenge for grown ups no 148)
Jack helped Spock to pull Anne out of the water. At the same time the police and ambulance turned up. The paramedics stabilized Anne. They suspected that she might have taken an overdose of something. Off they went to the nearest hospital. Jack took Spock home and gave him a special meal.Jack took Spock with him to visit Anne the next day. Jack had seen Anne many times on TV on the catwalk. He felt for her after seeing her so vulnerable and wet.
Anne was very glad to see Spock her saver, and the handsome Jack. They had a long chat about the “why”of the way she wanted to end her life.
The next day Jack picked Anne up and told her he had a surprise. He took Anne and Spock to the harbour and boarded a boat. Late afternoon they could see the most beautiful sight. An island, lush with growth. Very romantic. A real paradise. The three were dropped off in a small rowing boat.
Just the three of them in Paradise.

Where did you live at age five? Is it the same place or town you live now?
As a 5 year old I lived with my parents in my grandparents home on the top floor.
This was in Hilversum the Netherlands. I had two weeks on the ship the Waterman before my 6th birthday. It is a whole world away from where I am now in New Zealand.
You are invited to a party that will be attended by many fascinating people you never met. Would you attend this party if you were to go by yourself?
I don’t like it to go on my own because I have gone to many functions on my own. It is not the best thing because people need to discuss events like this with each other. On your own you can’t do that.
Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it?
I grew up in a very small rural village which today is part of a city! I enjoyed it very much. Near nature and not very complicated.
As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I am an animal lover and always wanted to become a vet. Those days girls did not study for vets they had to marry and be wives and mothers. I still love my animals and did my own studies after many years of looking after my son.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I am grateful that I could house sit for my friend who went over seas for 3 weeks. I also looked after her two dogs and two cats. I am grateful that she payed me for it. Every cent helps. I look forward to catching up with this friend. I also hope that I could get another International student this year.
Sorry I put the wrong photo , There is the one where Trompie is also watching
“…focus on a street. It can be a quiet road in a small town, an alley near your apartment, or a busy street where pedestrians weave between cars and motorbikes, like this scene…” from my neighborhood where people love to walk their dogs every day. My car is parked on the other side of the road, in front of my son’s place!
