What a lovely thing to do, to host a student. Is ‘hosting’ something you do regularly, because it’s an excellent way of helping students. I’m sure she’ll have a wonderful time in NZ. The dolls are absolutely beautiful, too – certainly something for you to remember your young guest by. 🙂

I imagine you get to know the long-term students well. It must be hard saying goodbye when it’s time for them to go home. You’re doing a marvellous job in helping their education along.

Ja, hul kan baie vriendelik en nederig ook wees. Die kaartjie is mooi. Kry jy darm ‘n paar rand vir jou gasvryheid, of is dit liefdadigheid?

It is! This afternoon she gave me another another gift. A dry “tree” with magic water. In 24 hours time it covers in full blooms! It is already starting to show the flowers. I’ll put it up as soon as it is all open
